Join Interfaith Power & Light’s annual premier week of worship and action focused on climate – Faith Climate Action Week, April 16-25, 2021.
The theme of this year’s Faith Climate Action Week is “Sacred Ground: Cultivating Connections Between our Faith, our Food, and the Climate. We will examine how our food systems contribute to injustice and to climate change, and how our faiths call us to respond through practical solutions.
Faith Climate Action Week is IPL’s annual program of climate-themed worship services and sermons that spans ten days of activities in celebration of Earth Month. This is IPL’s premier event to create a mass movement of people of faith preaching, teaching, and acting to heal the climate.
Sign up here to be the first to get the limited supply of pre-printed organizer’s kits.
The kit will include a Sacred Ground guide with information on the way in which we grow our food can be part of the climate solution, and also address injustice. In the kit there are faith-based discussion materials, suggested short films, a Garden Blessing ceremony, and suggestions and resources for how to get engaged in supporting food justice and healthy soil.
Faith Climate Action Week 2021 offerings include resources for sermons, talks, worship services, a film screening kit for the featured film, Kiss the Ground, and more.

How we grow our food largely determines how we treat the world, and one another. IPL invites you to dig in to this discussion on these connections for your Earth Day celebrations in 2021.
As Faith Climate Action week comes to a close, we can look back and reflect on this year’s theme, Love Made Visible, through a collection of videos posted by National Interfaith Power & Light.
