PA IPL is a membership organization, and we rely on the support of our institutional and individual membership to make our work possible.
Individuals
Individuals join us because they feel compelled to be part of the change they wish to see in Pennsylvania. Whether you are excited about planting trees, advocating for solutions to pollution, or you want a community that aligns with your values – membership is one way you can be part of supporting sustainable futures for all.
How do I become an individual member?
- You commit to our individual agreement by downloading it here or filling it out online here
- You commit to an annual financial contribution
Membership is $50 (with a discounted option of $25 available to anyone who needs it).
Institutions
Congregations and community groups choose to support our mission through membership for different reasons. Sometimes it is in acknowledgement of the value that our programs provide to their attempts to care for people and the planet. Other times because it aligns with social teachings and values the community holds. Regardless of what motivates any particular group, we rely on the institutions we support to in turn support us.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I/my community have to sign the membership agreement to be part of the PA IPL network?
Yes, if you would like to be a voting member. No, if you just want to make a contribution or be part of network programs, events, and community!
Who counts as an institutional member?
Any congregation, faith-based organization, or community group that aligns with the membership agreement is welcome to become an institutional member. We consider an institution to be comprised of 10 or more members.
Do I have to become a member to give?
No, anyone or any institution can send a donation to us at anytime!
Can I request a report?
Yes! Please send your request to info@paipl.org. Reports typically take two weeks to process.
Why do you have membership?
Membership has been part of PA IPL since our inception. We really value being part of a team! As part of our anticipated strategic planning process we will be re-visiting our membership model to explore its usefulness and alternative network structuring models.
