Eileen Flanagan is an author with an extraordinary story to tell. It is the story of her mid-life discernment, her intentional work to reconnect with the ideals of her youth, and to honor her own potential. It is a story of honesty, hope, faith,community, and courage. Eileen’s previous book, The Wisdom to Know the Difference, was endorsed by the Dalai Lama, and her articles have a appeared in a wide range of national publications. A graduate of Duke and Yale, Eileen leads the board of Earth Quaker Action Team, which uses nonviolent direct action to work for a just and sustainable economy.
Eileen is a seasoned writer, speaker and workshop leader. She is a Quaker with deep ties to her Catholic upbringing.
