Global Earth Exchange

June 18, 2016

No matter where we live, there are places we love that have fallen on hard times: rivers that are polluted, meadows paved over to make a mall… even the tree in your own backyard killed by invasive insects.

On the Global Earth Exchange, we express gratitude for these places by:

  1. Visiting them
  2. Sharing stories about what they mean to us
  3. Getting to know them as they are now
  4. Making a simple gift of beauty—usually a bird made of materials the place itself provides

Anyone can participate in the Global Earth Exchange and there’s no charge. You can do your Earth Exchange with friends, family, children… or you can do it alone.

In 2015, people from 23 countries worldwide participated in the Global Earth Exchange. Click to see aslide show of where they went and what they did and to read their stories about what happened.
