Emily is an emissary who has gathered a deep perspective on effective and positive change. Why is persistent citizen lobbying from a place of faith so important, despite the current lack of congressional action on climate change? Why does FCNL see PA as one of the leading places where bipartisan climate discussions can happen? Join the conversation and learn how your important voice can make a difference . Friends National Committee on Legislation in Washington DC, works with many groups to achieve common goals to move forward at this critical time.

Richard is an international speaker on climate change and delegate to the Paris Climate Summit. He’s a board member of the World Information Transfer at the United Nations. As a trusted source of scientific research on the subject, he will briefly discuss new reports that climate change is moving faster than expected and share useful hand outs for further reading.

Lee is a teacher and seasoned activist. She will help us with techniques and training– How to develop your voice. Where can you bring your experience to make a difference? A brief introduction to the inspiring work of Joanna Macy will provide a framework for a healthy relationship to our interconnected planet.
