Creating Climate SmART Communities: Artists Confront Climate Change

FreePhiladelphia PA IPL leader and climate change activist Peter Handler is an artist and fine furniture craftsman in his other life. He is one of a group of artists tackling the complex subject of climate change, and pointing the way towards prepared, resilient, “climate smART” communities.
Come hear this extraordinary group of panelists speak about their work:
- Paula Winokur, internationally renowned sculptor whose work has been in the permanent collection of the Philadelphia Museum of Art since 1970
- Eve Mosher, interactive public projects artist and creator of HighWaterLine, Philadelphia
- Peter Handler, award-winning craft artist and creator of “The Canaries in the Coal Mine,” sculptural works about the impacts of climate change
- Lillian Ball, Internationally recognized environmental artist and designer of stormwater management projects, including WATERWASH
- Frances Dubrowski, Moderator and Project Director, Honoring the Future.
