Pennsylvania Interfaith Power & Light is a community of congregations, faith-based organizations, and individuals of faith responding to climate change as a moral issue, through advocacy, energy conservation, energy efficiency, and the use of clean, renewable energy.
Members agree to support PA IPL financially to help us continue to support, inspire, and weave together a broader Pennsylvania network of individuals and congregations responding to climate change as a moral and ethical issue, and to be a public voice for those concerns. Members also agree to take action to lower emissions directly by their actions and choices, or indirectly, by educating themselves and others, and asking elected officials to act on a larger scale than individuals and congregations can possibly do. You will decide the level of your financial support. To help in your decision, some suggested donation levels are listed in the table below. Membership covenants (particularly important for institutions!) can be downloaded here:
If you give online, please consider a recurring donation (as an option on the donation page), which will automatically charge your credit card monthly, quarterly, or annually as you choose. Regular giving helps us predict income, streamlining administration so that we may focus on mission. For 2017: we have a matching grant which will MATCH any new or increased recurring donations. The same matching grant will MATCH congregational donations of $250 or more.
|Individual levels||Congregational levels|
|Leader||$400 and up||Leadership congregation||$1000 and up|
