Join us for a free showing of the movie Faith Against Fracking (trailer below), followed by presentations by two Pennsylvania residents who have paid the price of petroleum extraction and transport.
Ellen Gerhart, Huntingdon County, was forced by eminent domain to allow the Mariner 2 pipeline to cross her land, which had long been placed under registered forest protection.
Michael Badges-Canning, Butler County, has firsthand experience of the damage fracking has done to his drinking water.
There will be a brief, optional prayer service following the program.
